I got my parts today, and thought of something. When the first order gets here I will have 2nds. Wash out base, push link set, and flybar head control. NOW, if anybody would need any of my 3, and everyone is "Out Of Stock", All we need to do is post I Need A (What Ever) and anyone that has that could send it to that person. When thAre back in stock, get them and mail them to the owner. We could help each other stay in the air more. I waited 3 weeks from that Fait-full night of "Disguest", till today. HELP, I need this, this, this. I may of only been down 1 week. Just a thought............? And my new ESC came with tinned ends. AND, I have no conectors to soder on them. "Here We Go Again......! I should be able to get them at the local hobby shop, that only sells E-Flite, and Trex stuff. Now that he knows I have a King-2, he makes me feel like I need to kiss his feet, when I pay for things. Like we say here in the Ozarks, "Ooooooh-Weeeeeell ! Whats Ya Think ?

Note that some B400 stuff does work on the HBK2 so you can capitolize on Eflights mafia if need be, at least for some stuff.

I will add that since that first and only crash back in November it seems that just about every week I'm waiting on another parts order to take the next step. When a part arrives, it only confirms that wasn't the issue. Either that, it is solves and issue and then exposes a new issue.

A big part what is going on with me is learning what each and every part does and how it affects the heli. Had I more experience servicing the HBK2 I might have been better able to nail the bad part from the get go. At times I do wish I was flying more, but its winter after all and numb hands aren't that fun. I'm not frustrated in the least and feel like I've learned 3 years worth of heli wisedom in 2 months.

Since I'm just getting started and am looking for a great spring and summer, I'm happy to spend the winter months working out the kinks, learning setup/repair and stocking my parts wall.

Always order 2 or 3 of each thing you buy you'll need them. As far as winter this stuff sucks I really busted through my safety zone and started some good flying Back in November. Now I'm slowing down. I was doing banking turns, FFF, 1440degree piro's, fast sideways flight working on nosein hovering. Getting ready for that first stunt loop or flip not sure. Now Ill have to remember it all over and on a new heli too.

The waiting really is the hardest part DAR. If you have the part and crash, at least you know you can fix it but when you don't have the part and crash its a BAD feeling

I mailed off a few deans connectors you now need to chewbacci. Okkkkk, What........? One thing that I've noticed is im the "Stupid-Ol-Guy" when it comes to todays Lingo. If you sent them to me,,,thank you, you'll get them back when I buy them. Hard to think, in my day, we had that ol-black phone on the kitchen wall, with the 3 ft. cord,,,,6ft. cord,,,,,,,10ft. cord,,,,,,,,25ft. cord. It's like wakeing up 30 years later, and finding out the world is still here. A bit differant, and we now have these things called cell-phones, and you can oder a HBK-2,as you walk down the side-walk, lookin at "Chic's"....................How Cool is THAT !

some of the best advise ive ever got is buy two or three of what ever you break. and buy replacements when your inventory gets low not out. its been keeping me in the air. sometimes i get slim on parts and that keeps me doing conservitive flights. i have no prob doing a hbk2 network of spare parts. the majority of you fellers dont sound like you'd screw each other for a 2 doller part. so im in.

2 1/2 Hr. drive, each @ $3.00 a Gal fuel, for a $4.85 part, "Priceless". It's like when I had my Show on the road( You can hear my new hit song, with out having to buy it here, Stay@Home-Dar ) http://profile.myspace.com/index.cf...endid=170506428 ) when yr driving yr tour bus down the road, and at the stop sign you see a guy sittin on his amp, with a "Duck-Tape" guitar case, you "Open the Door & say, "Need-a-Lift" to the next show........... ? Pickers, heli-pilots-bull riders-airplane pilots-truck drivers,do things most people only dream of. You cant just jump in & go. Funny thing, we all like "Truck-Stops".............! Majin-That ! & you know "Fixed Wing Pilots" ENVY us R/C Chopper Pilots................! We do, what they cant. Like seeing a J3 Cub landing, and keeping his tail up, till he puts it down, and the prop, spins down. We Walk Amoung Many, That Cant Walk, With-Us........! I found that out, "Many Years Ago" Buy-Parts, you will "Hover"..................!

Yes,No,Maby, things going way 2 fast. Yes, on cats swimming with Heli Pilot Dar, with life jacketts. When the temp gets to 90, I put life jacketts on the ones that "Want To Swim With Dar",and spend 2-3hrs. in the lake. You should pull up to the "Gas Dock"@ $4.00 a Gal. with 6 cats on board. With 3 of them swimming with Dar! Takes 1/2 hr. to sign autographs, and be on our way. I just want to get back to my dock, and fly my King.......! The "Swimming-Kittys" will sell more promo pics, than my cd sales evar could.

[size=large]Im sooo unhappy of what a little mistake I made in the order form on the internet to get some parts from hobby-lobby.

THAT LITTLE MISTAKE WAS I MIXED THE FIRST TWO DIGITS IN MY ZIP CODE!!! AND THATS WHY I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ALREADY A MONTH!!!! I just found out about this two days ago when i took a another look at my invoice that i printed out.

well, its my stupid fault.... WELL THEY SHOULD HAVE THE COMMON SENSE TO SHIP IT TO MY ADDRESS REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE ZIP CODE IS!!! I MEAN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA IS A PRETTY FAMOUS CITY, RIGHT!!

Well, i hope that i wont make that mistake again.

hobby-lobby Are they closer? they are usually more expensive than most. I havent done a price comparison on the king yet. You do know about jag and heli direct right? Youll find thats where most of us are frequently ordering from.

Hobby lobby has some parts that are cheaper than other sites on the

internet, but their shipping is too high $8.99just to ship a few

parts?!( it cost that price just to ship a pair of blades)ehh...

they are still an okay place to buy.

I cant believe how naive I can be!! ordering a small amount of parts

and waiting a loooong time for them!!

ThAres No Free Lunch here. With the price of everything going up,,,,,,we All, Have-2-Eat. It's a sucker-game, and all shops are having the same time we are. Trying to pay our bills, and eat supper. My Thought is go with the name company, not the cut-througth ones. Yes, I like a bargin, but at what price are we going to pay for it. If we drive the hobby shops out, we've done what WallMart wanted us to do. Drive out the mom-&-pops, stores. Then we wait in line, cuz were out of stock,,,,,,,,,AND Willin to pay what ever, to get back in the sky again. It's time to suck-it-in, and keep the guy down the street open 4 buissnes. NOW,,,,,,, OK, lets suck-it-in, and stay with the name brands. I bought from Tower Hobbys, back in 19&75. They are still thAre today. I just bought my new radio from them, after 32 years of not buying thAre. Its time we pull togeather, and support the Big-Guys, or all we have left is HK.................and im still waiting for my blades-&Batt,& 3 things, will the boat find the "USA", if it dose the brown truck can find Dar's place....?
