"Better get these rotors up to speed asap..and pull pitch..got one on the left and right".."the ugly one on the left is eye balling our Tail Rotor'

This one was seen in Mexico...so must be universal....

Has any one else observed this strange 'love/hate' relationship?

I have to boot my cat out of the basement if I spool up for any kind of a test, she is fearless and will lay under a hovering 450 and try to bat it, lol.

We've three cats, all three are scared by the noise of the heli'when I'm testing/setting up my 450 in the kitchen but, one of the buggers is just facinated by it and seems he wants to attack it!

I like to spend everyday as though it were my last; in bed drifting in and out of consciousness!

Funny, I almost had my mother in laws chocolate lab eat a mouthfull of T450 tail rotor while in idle up. Had to punch it to stop her from getting at it. lol.

animals aren't the brightest sometimes.

One thing is for sure though, all it would take is one incident to convince the cat/dog that there is nothing else interesting about the heli! If they survived...

When I spool up my little CX the cat just looks at it , then gets up and walks out of the room. No fun kitty.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

When I had a blade CP, my boxer tried to jump up and grab the skids from about 6 ft up in a hover. This is also the same dog that would attack 1/8 scale buggies while they were moving, trying to bite the front wheels or the head of the engine.

Who raised the ground since I took off?

LOL, that reminded me of a fun evening when I was racing my RC10-GT up and down the street in front of my house. The neighbor loosed his German Shepard upon my truck. It actually got a hold of it and picked the whole truck up by a rear wheel leaving a nice puncture hole in the rim. All I did was goose the throttle and the dog let it go. Then I chased him around a bit and he never bothered my RC10GT again haha!

ChopperCrazy That is a mighty large cat you have there. Did it swallow a basketball whole? There was a cat in my family that was that big too but it was all orange so it looked like a basketball all by itself. It didn't move much either so chasing helis was not a problem from it.
