tail rotor blade size
What is the correct way to measure tail rotor size? Do I measure from bolt hole to end of rotor? Also what size carbon tail rotors for the E550 and E620SE are recommend? 80MM? 92 and 95 wouldbe too long?

You can run up to 92mm with the E550.

Raptor maximum tail blade chart.

92mm max
Raptor 30
Raptor 50
Raptor E550

95mm max
Raptor Titan
Raptor 620

I just run 92mm on everything. Century makes some real nice 92mm CF blades. Some get away with running longer tail blades but it is possible to get them to hit so why take the risk. I have found that a better gyro or rudder servo is usually the problem if the tail is not holding. The best I have found so far is the Spartan DS 760 with a Futaba brushless BLS251 servo.

I found out Must be measured from centre of bolt hole to end tip.

I tried the 80MM tail rotors and they work well (on the E620SE), they have a wider chord than standard.
They don't get dirty from the grass either.
