I know each engine is different etc, but for those of you who run OS hyper 50's, what is your current needle setting. Is it similar to the OS91SZ which seem to end up from 3/4 to 1 1/4 open? Again, I know you have to tune all engines, but mainly just wanted to see where some of you have 'ended up' with your needle setting. Also, I know temperature will differ from engine to engine...but have any of your measured your engine temperature right after a good run, if so what are you seeing? I use the Small Duratax laser for example...just for curiosity sometimes...just point and shoot. My R90SE's seem to both be at about 175F right after a run...today, after I ran my Trex600N...at a rich setting, I was getting about 150 max..on both flights.

Thanks,

Michael

I agree, I run my 91 at 1 1/4 and my Hyper 50 at 1-1/8, but living in Florida, the varing humidity and temp swings means I am always bumping in a click/and/or removing one.... You have to live here to truly understand that! If it's not 105deg. it's 30 deg.!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had some set at 3/4 of a turn and run good so it definitely depends on many variables (plug, fuel, pipe, etc)keep temp down some run up to and over 200 deg with no issues . motor will let you know it will have good power if tuned then if you lean out 1 or 2 clicks and power drops your too lean it will sound like it has more power but but feels like it doesnt
