For those who haven't seen it, here it is. For those who have seen it, watch it again!

Click on the second video, Sunday at the lake, save it then watch and enjoy.

Seen it many times, still love it. ASJ is my favorite pro to watch by far. That auto at the end is very cool. Simple but cool. That is a class flight.

My favorite as well. I prefer ASJ's flying in this video to most of today's crack-crazed flights. This is much more enjoyable for me personally to watch. Who knows, Alan may be flying that Raptor again in the near future (if you know what I mean) and we'll all be in line to buy one, lol.

I like the video of ASJ flying the Piccolo Pro - I think there was a little chaos toward the end of the video. The Raptor-30 is a close 2nd.

It's been mentioned before whenever that great video comes up that on that particular day in 2004, Alan Jr had been having trouble with the governor on that R90, and it ended up not being used at all on that flight. The headspeed throughout that 8 minutes sounds governed, but it was all just great tx throttle curve programming (Airtronics Stylus) and that outstanding Szabo Brand™
Collective Management..©.

What great late-afternoon lighting as well that day at Lake Mead. That's an all-time favorite of many, myself included.

Now I'm even more impressed - I thought it was governed. Superhuman collective management.

We see lots of great clips these days, no doubt. Anymore what really catches my eye is excellent lighting, so that what's cookin' is clearly visible. Early mornings and late afternoons seem to always work best, especially if the cameraman keeps the sun at his back. Some terrain or puffy white clouds in the background are also good to give directional reference to the moves.

This 4 minute clip of Leon Luke (shot by MR in Vegas at the '07 FF) is also a favorite o' mine, not only for Leon's flying and his flawless inverted auto at the end, but for the excellent late-afternoon lighting and the puffy white clouds.

Even Frenchman Mtn was lookin' good that day.

I agree. This video was the biggest Trex inspiration to me. It will never grow old. Pilot: Alan Szabo Jr.

I don't know if I'd call that video inspiration or discouraging when I'm still trying to hover in a sim without crashing!

Just shows what a good pilot can do with any machine. You don't need an Aurora to do it. Alan could fly the heck out of anything with rotor blades. He's actually not so bad with a foamie either.
