It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.

I just finished another Trex600N pro. I wanted to use the TJ optical sensor. I found a very effective way to mount it so that stays in line with the center of the fan hub, as recommened by Model Avionics. So far it works well. I'll post some pics later if anyone is still interested.

I just mounted an optical sensor on my vibe 90, i cut a rectangle in the fan shroud the same size as the sensor and epoxied it in. Works great also you don't get light swamping on the sensor head.

CYR,
I'll post some pics really soon so check back in a few days.

I will say it was a challenge. There isn't alot of room to work with since the clutch bell is in the way no matter how you place it. I designed a bracket before the one I have now, only to find out that I didn't calculate the clutch bell in right lol..I had to scrap it and start all over. I wasted 4 hours. This aluminum bracket I made this time works very well.
