I've been learning to fly sim-less, heck, But I'd like to experience some part and repair free flying.

I'm lucky to have a working computer and internet (Thank you to my networking experience).

I've pieced together a working Dell (for the most part) and found a non-registerable copy of XP which I got to work. Yea, I'm an oldschool hack out of necessity.

Are there any freeware sims that are reasonably good? I can do most periferral hacks on IO devices to get it to work if need be on IO devices if not supported. Just looking for something with somewhat realistic mode flight characteristics plotting and graph dynamic plotting. The IO DEV I can take care of. Wish I'd paid more attention to graphic mapping.

A sim would be great, easier, source would help more but only if un-compiled. Thanks.

You pay for what you get. Why not just fork oy £85 for Phoenix and have the best sim available. It'll save you millions in real crash costs.

You can pick up a G2 sim for around 60-70 and it is well worth it...
