If you have not ordered the servo wheels you should get those for sure! (as long as you have JR, Futaba, servos, the airtronics and Hitech do not seem to fit quite right...

you should use the align 2 in 1 regulator. the it comes with a switch box that has battery monitor on it and a slow ignitor. its very nice and work great.

hmm well I think you need some remote connection to the glow plug unless you start it with the cover off every time. I don't think it will interfeer with a glow starter.

Well there is a switch plate and it goes on the side, I use a regulator and lithium Ion batteries. You can use a nicad, just use some velcro straps to hold it from moving about. I just left the switch out at first, then got the regulator and mounted a pin switch.

The total solution is the align regulator with builtin glow start and switch, (well you unplug the battery from the regulator if its going to sit overnight. Good practice so this adds more money on, but Align has a good price point on the regulator/battery. It seems the best way to go nowadays. Use the nicad if you like, (make it a good sized one for a 50- 1800mAh or better) but you will prob wind up getting the regulator eventually
