Looking for some quick info as to what is the best way to assign switches with a dx7 for a raptor titan.

I have mostly been electric up until this bird (just maiden'd this weekend, flew great!) and I have started to ponder my switch assigments.

I have always had the top right switch on dx7 (rudder d/r I think) assigned to my gyro function and had aux two switch as throttle hold.

I think it would probably be better to have the rudder d/r switch be throttle hold and aux 2 control the gyro. I didn't go through changing it because with the dx7 I believe you have to have the gyro sense line plugged into aux 2 channel if you want to use aux2 as the gyro switch. I can get it there, just a matter of moving the gov etc.

What seems to be the standard? Where do you guys usually assign throttle hold?

top right = throttle hold and aux2 = gyro..
that's how mine is and a local expert helped set it up with me so it seems to be the standard around here.

Raptor 50 Titan with DX7, GY401, and TT Redline 53 is Awsome!

Thats what I was thinking. I'll swap things around and get mine working that way. Seems like the easiest and most comfortable reach for my hands to make.

I'm a thumber (I've spent some time trying to switch it just feels very unnatural to me), so my pointer can reach up and hit that switch pretty easy.

Top right --- throttle hold
Gear --- gyro
Aux 2 --- rev-max
But this is just personal preference.

All for the spectators!!

I swapped mine around to allow for TH on the top right stick, I have the multigov tied in to the flight mode switch and gyro now on aux 2.

Thanks.
