I have been out of Heli's for about 2 years. Before I quit I was flying pretty darn good. So I am no beginner. The problem is I have lost track of what's on the market today and am looking for something. I'm no 3D king but I want to be able to Tick Tock and do inverted flight.

I would like a machine that I can use my 2100MaH LiPo batterys in. But that is not a restriction as much as it is a would be nice.

I know the TRex is a nice little Heli but I know there are more on the market now than I can shake a stick at.

Also what Gyro and Tail Servo combo are you guys using now in these little birds?

Any suggestions on some of the newer items on the market would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Ken

Welcome into the marvellous electric world
The GY401 with his servo gyro is a good reference for your appli (light and little).
You can use your batteries 2100mAh in 2x3S (22 Volts) or 5S in 3300mAh.

Check out the RC TEC Diablo or SkyShark. Both are very nice heli's, and come in a package for a price that is hard to beat. Also, Thier cusomer service and product support is outstanding.

I've just bought the Century (sold under loads of different names) SE450. It comes in an alloy case and here in the UK in three different states, i.e. fully built, partially built, and just the frame.

I had a Trex a couple of years ago but sold it as I was tired of the glitching problems I was getting. The Century is just as 'pretty' as the Trex SE, built as well only, you don't have 'Align' stamped all over it. That's reflected in its price too!

There is a video on you tube of a RR member flying it. Have a look at what a skilled pilot can do with it!

Now look at it in the hands of an amateur!

I like to spend everyday as though it were my last; in bed drifting in and out of consciousness!

If you want a small E heli, get a Trex SE. Their is a reason they are VERY popular.
