I just got a 14mz, The first model I programmed in was a old T-Rex 450 SE, everything programmed fine, test flew yesterday, normal mode flew fine, get up to about 50 feet, switch to Idle-up-1 pitch changes correctly, but the motor shuts off completely, quickly switch back to normal....
Curves are correct, not going into throttle hold (or so the screen says)
Any ideas?

Leave the heli off and go into your servo monitor screen and see what it shows for the throttle when you hit the switch. Programming may not set up all the way. I have a showgun that works ok after a tweak here and there.

Are you running throttle curves, or governor? For my maxi/14mz, I've got normal, with a straight line at 0, and then my flight modes, ( idle 1 and 2) with straight lines at two set points.... perhaps you didn't set a curve for idle up 1?

Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.

Check your condition select you might need to set the order of priority. Mine is:

#1 Normal
#2 Idle up 1
#3 Idle up 2
#4 Throttle hold

If these are off you will get the same problem you are having.

Looked at it today, Figured it out.
Apparently when I started setting up throttle hold, I also st it up in the Idle up 1 position as well! Actually throttle cut in the throttle hold menu.

All's well.

Thanks for you help guys.
