Using a 6V BEC with stock Ace RC C0915 servo?
after a crash I am replacing the swash servos with HS-65MG, but keeping the existing stock tail servo (Ace RC C0915). I am also changing the stock ESC to an Align RCE-BL35X (with a 6V BEC).

Does anyone know if a 6V BEC is ok with the Ace RC C0915? I cannot seem to find much in the way of the usual specs for these servos.

Are most servos made to run off either 4.8v or 6v (or is this a bit dangerous and could lead to burning out the C0915)?

thanks

On the C0915 / C1016 packaging it says that the servo could be damaged by running it at more then 4.8V

i dont know if this holds true, but i wouldn't like to be the one to find out while in flight!!

thanks Markus, appreciate the info (didn't have any packaging with mine).

Are you sure you don't want to give it a try and let me know the results?
