HS55's are not very precise, I don't think I'd use one on my heli.

Why? - Other than specs, what's the difference between the two?

I had an idea to rig a soft mount for these micro servo low demand applications. If we could somehow absorb 50% or more vibration yet be very securely mounted, there won't be any worry. Any mount ideas? I am still thinking of some viable solutions.

Pani,

Have you had any issues mounting a servo such that the horn works in the opposite direction of the throttle???

I've been told to avoid this, but with the mini servo, it makes a nice 90 degree shot to the servo.

Anyone else done it like this?????

Hi Rock

Servo arm 90 degrees, throtle arm 90 degrees and barel at exactly the midlle mark.
End points came out at 98 and 102.
Mechanically it's perfect.
Works flawlessly.
Since the attachment points of the arms are exactly the same distance apart from the bellcrank there is no issue. Hence the near perfect end points.
In the photo the throttle is at the fully closed position. I'll take a pic at 1/2 throttle stick and post.
