Dave,

All good points.

But keep the collet system for the fan. I have used the system for the Hirobo, the screw-on for the Raptor, and the Align system is by far the best. It allows you too easily adjust it to dial indicate it. If you have a screw on system, and it is out or round, you are screwed! (pun intended)

17. Also get the clutch/clutchbell liner gap correct the first time.

18. No more flimsy fans that throw magnets and eat sensors.

19. Plastic paddles with stickers are for pos toys!

20. Reverse engineer a Quick UK swash and make one that doesn't develop slop.

21. Make a boom clamp that actually clamps the boom.

22. Torque tubes that are actually straight would be nice. Try CF! Even Thunder Tigers TT is an improvement. How sad is that?

23. A rear gyro mount would be nice.

24. Reverse engineer the new Vibe 50 tail slider - much less slop.

25. 2 radial bearings and a thrust bearing in the tail. And the thrust bearing races can't be press-in to do it's job right! Again, take a look at the Quick UK or even Kasama tail grips.

Saturday morning I flew my helicopter in my pajamas
How it got in my pajamas I'll never know

Just make the fans so that they are true enough so they do not need to be dialed......The rest I concur

But will they listen?

26. Make the head LE control instead of TE control

27. Extend the canopy further back past the frame (I hate being able to see two thirds of the frame (hence I hate the avant canopy), what's the point of the canopy if it isn't going to cover most of the mechanics up?)

28. Good quality bearings

29. Get rid of 2nd stage gearing to drive TT, follow MA's or Century's method (less parts to replace)

30. If you're going to keep the same method to drive the torque tube, make the gears up front stronger than the ones in the tail, that way if we have a tail strike, we replace those gears instead of splitting the helicopter in half.

31. I swear fo god these frames better be at least 2mm. I'd prefer 2.5mm

32. 4mm flybar

33. Harder dampeners

...now where was I, dh/dt = BS-dx/dt
I will fly you forever... till earth do us part

Amen Brother, that's why I sold my 600N.

Pulling that case apart was like eating king crab without a shell cracker.

you know, it's starting to sound like you guys don't want Align to sell us millions and millions of pieces of unnecessary replacement parts. What are you thinking?

Yup, exactly. They can price it a bit higher than the competition if it has ALL of the bling and upgrades outta the box plus cheap spares pricing.
