I agree that MA helis have more parts and take more effort to setup. It does become a pain in the a$$ sometimes. But they are maintanance free and parts dont wear out like the "newer helis". I never worry about mechanical faiure or it dropping out of the sky for whatever reason. Cost on the other hand??? But I guess you have to pay for quality.

OT - Sorry - Couldnt resist
[quote]THIS is the KEY! YOu get what you pay for.
Bill Clinton started jogging near hisnew home in Chappaqua. But on each run he happened to jog past a hooker standing on the same street corner, day after day.
With some apprehension he would brace himself as he approached her for what was most certainly to follow."Fifty dollars!" she would cry out from the curb."No, Five dollars!" fired back Clinton .... This ritual between Bill and the hooker continued for days. He'd run by and she'd yell, "Fifty dollars!" And he'd yell back, "Five dollars!" One day however, Hillary decided that she wanted to accompany her husband on his jog!
As the jogging couple neared the problematic street corner, Bill realized the "pro" would bark her $50 offer and H illary would wonder what he'd really been doing on all his past outings.
He realized he should have a darn good explanation for the junior Senator.
As they jogged into the turn that would take them past the corner, Bill became even more apprehensive than usual.
Sure enough, there was the hooker!
Bill tried to avoid the prostitute's eyes as she watched the pair jog past. Then, from the sidewalk, the hooker yelled...

See what you get for five bucks!?"

That's Frickin funny...

I have to agree with Bl8zn and BJames111, You definately get what you pay for. MA Kits also maintain their integrity much longer than than most if not all of the "New" kits on the market today. I'm sure everyone has seen the slop on their TRex after say 20 flights.. I admit, I got a little T500 and it's brand new and not as stiff as my used Expert.. That was a pricey little sucker too.. Bought 2 used Furys so far and have had good luck. First was better luck than 2nd but still a smokin deal. Let's not forget that these lower cost kits have tons and tons of upgrades or "Bling" for what purpose? To stiffen them up close to what you get out of an MA kit right from the box. I hate that word "Bling".. Also, compare the price tags on an Aurora or Synergy.. An Xcell will do exactly what you tell it to very precisely and that's what you pay for..

Bringing your MA to the field is like pulling up in a Ferari.. Just Bada$$.
