Update
Last night Armsmaster removed stock align esc/bec and installed a phoenix60 and separate bec, his still glitched all over, worse than mine. he then added a ground without any improvement. He then lubed his tail belt with triflow and no more glitch.
I gave this some thought last night and I wonder if atmospheric conditions could also be at play here. the right temp/humidity can make more or less static and when conditions change so does the problem? maybe our cold dry air here right now is making this problem worse? Regardless there does seem to be some sort of interference being caused by the tail belt. And we need a way to stop it. anyone heard about a torque tube for the T rex 500? that should solve it.

Buy the metal tail unit then remove some paint from the area on the boom where it will mount and the inside of the tail unit itself. Then up front run a ground from the frame to the boom. You can sandwich a piece of wire between the boom block and boom (with some paint removed)and then ground to frame.

The atmosphere could definitely make a difference.

Do you have a link to this part? is is it just the tail piece or frame end as well? I have already tried grounding the tube itself to the motor mount didn't seem to make any difference. Is there a way to ground the front/frame end without running a ground wire up the tail?

I think my friend is going to try getting a GF frame this weekend and see if that makes a difference. So far everything I have read is this is only on Carbon Frames?

Sent you a PM with link. You do not have to get this part but it will make the whole grounding process easier.. you have to decide if its $42 easier.

I took the tail case apart and on the inside, fin side of the tail case I folded a piece of alumimun foil three times, shaped to fit one end in the bearing mold so the bearing sandwiches it in. the rest is inlayed and shaped to run inside tailcase up to the little stop that goes into the hole in the boom. The boom is sanded to show metal. Put the tail back together and the foil gets sandwiched agains the metat on the boom. Now the tailshaft is grounded to the boom.

I did the same thing up front. Aluminum foil shaped to run from top bearing in boom block, between the top seam of the boom block, sandwiched against the boom and another piece out of the boom block sandwiched between teh block and a sanded part of the CF frame.

Its funny that you mentioned that most of the occurrence are on the CF frames. I've read posts from other sites and most of it are on CF frames. I'm also curious if it happens on a GF frame.
