[/quote] Yes. I've also seen throttle jocky sensor's mounted this way.

ka6fty,

I was wondering if the TJ sensor pickup would do the job or not since its smaller than the GV1 sensor. I am wanting to put a gov on my Predator Carbon SE, and I really like the TJ pro I have on my 600N. I didn't want to buy another TJ pro and find out it wouldn't work with this method.

Can anyone else confirm that the TJ pro sensor will work throught the crank case of the engine?

You got it in your hands!
If you really want to know if it works on the gasser, take the one out of your 600n and install it on the gasser. If it works and you like it then you're done -- just go buy another one and put it on the 600n.

If not then you got your test just put it back and get a gv-1 for the gasser.

If someone else already has this setup in a gasser why would I pull apart my 600N if they can confirm that it works by posting the answer here?

As a last resort I was planning to test it with the one I have if no one else replies with a yes answer. The sensor is mounted on the 600N at 90 degrees to a bracket above the fan unit. It would be much easier to get the answer here rather than tear apart my 600N.

The TJ Pro sensor will work on the crankcase of the G26....perfectly. I went with the GV-1 because I couldn't get a TJ Pro to work with the gasser. The sensor does work though.
