Well I just made it by eyeballing instead of using a scientific approach. I hate when I do that. I just got lucky I guess

Ok. Back to topic. Have you tested the 607 on a 120 degree bird yet?

Looking forward for your input

No.... received Tx on Saturday, haven't had chance to sit and program it yet. Thats tonights project, hoping to see instant difference, if not then i'm unsure which way to go if the 617 has had its read code reconfigured thats not much use when the 12fg assigns the channels as quoted above!! Have the 14 channel Rx as well but thats going on the Vibe 90.

Well I can tell you that the 14ch works perfect. No dancing whatsoever. You just remove the usual interactions and its perfect. Almost as good as mechanical setup if you take the time

for what it's worth, i've got the 606 rx on my maxir and the swash seems perfect to my eye. Night and day better than the 9C and berg rx.

I got a fever! The only prescription is MORE 6HV

WOW

Programmed the 600N in on the 607 Rx, pitch lag disappeared, swash is lightning fast compared to my 9C on Fasst, can't understand how though.

Excellent radio, nearly justified the cost of it in my head now. Gonna try and get the Vibe programmed in later on the 14ch Rx to see if i can humanly notice a difference. Will swap onto the 7 channel if i can't see one!!

Just sorted out my 14MZ balance. Modified the spektrum hanger, removed end piece, used the ferrule, washer and a longer bolt instead of the DX7 bit and you can then adjust to suit. Worksa treat and isnt too heath robinson.

Ok John, i'm converted!!

Put exactly the same settings in from the 9C no subtrims endpoints all 100% AFRs's close to 50. On operating the collective there is no lag on the one servo like i had before, and i'm going to throw a kicker in here....it wasn't the pitch servo like i quoted previously it was the aileron channel??

Anyway moving swiftly on, i now have a swash that stays dead level from full negative -14 to full positive pitch +14. With only 1-2 points of endpoint adjustment. How happy am i gonna be at the field

Oh and BTW just fitted a Fromeco DC up and the battery failsafe cuts in bang on 3.8volts

Neckstrap
One time I decided I should try using a neckstrap. 'Almost gave myself whiplash and strangled myself. Had know idea how much I was used to moving the radio around. Couldn't even finish the tank, felt like my arms were in a cast and I couldn't move.

Habits are hard to break, just like the strap/balance Tony is used to.

At long last managed to get to the field today, i'm over the moon, the 12FG has been worth every penny IMO. The heli feels sooo responsive now. Have no more nasty interactions and to be fair i've done a very basic setup on the Tx, not utilised any of the the many mixing functions. Still finding my feet with the programming, too many years of FF9 menus!! But it is so easy to program, just a little different to what i had before.

I´m not so sure 607 reciever gives perfect ccpm, i have bought one and i notice some movement on the paddels when i move pitch, swaping for a G3 reciever solves the problem and the paddles dont move what ever you do with pitch stick..

Is anybody certain 617 solves this issue?

Thanks

No the 607 and the 12FG isn't perfect out the box, but with a little fettling it could be. With my basic setup i notice i have to do a lot less work on the sticks to keep the model in one place, this is most noticeable in aileron and elevator metronomes, not sure i could be bothered to make it any better.

Just finished the setup on the Vibe with 140 eCCPM and the 14ch Rx with cyclic input the swash ball does not move at all!!!

Going to try it now in the air........
