Woopsy! I forgot to set my timer and had a flame out. Of course, I have a locked up one-way bearing, so the auto did not go too well. Only broke the landing gear and popped a ball link. No damage to the blades or canopy!! I love soft dirt.

Yes, this is how I found it at the crash scene.

Woe is the man with the no-way bearing. Blessed is he who lands on soft dirt.

Thats a nice lookin bird, even if it is upside down and sideways.

Hellllll yeah! Night flying too.

Mike Scoles can't make it this time, but Jeff 3DM King should be there with a secret weapon.

Well Phoenix was awesome Jason Krause was there Bert Kammerer, Ray Nemovi, Curtis Youngblood, Mike Fortin, and Jeff Fasbinder was there.

The jet turbines were way too fast and cool.

The auto contest was run by Jason Krasue it was a spot landing contest he pulled out a sharpie and made a mark this big>>. Thats where the nose was suppossed to go.

The 500's were really cool to see on 5 and 6S.

They tied a gallon of fuel to a 600 and was flying around with it they were tring to swing it around in circles poor TT Redline was hating life. I think they were actually trying to burn it up

Got to see Bert do several Crack Kaos that was sweet! Videos do them no justice.

There was a Raptor crash where the poor bird hit the runway and the tail boom completely seperated from the machine before it slid 50ft down the runway I don't think they found the tail case and its contents. There were very few crashes believe it or not. Besides the Raptor there was a guy with a Synergy doing Piro flips that had a flame out he almost autoed that thing out of the bushes landing was fine but a bush turned it over causing minor damage. There was a 600 that was pretty bad. Then there was a 450 that looked like a water baloon exploding.

Check out new sig line!!!!!

They say the Align gov is really good that it is faster acting than most and does a really good job of keeping the HS in check.

It keeps your engine from bogging as bad because it responds faster its newer technology newer electronics inside. I would use a throttle at least as fast as your CCPM servos i think a gov works better with a fast servo IMHO I know my Revmax does. Its also priced right.

Im not gonna fret you about your poor naked Synergy because you took a step by finally getting a gov its about time. I actually have hope I might actually get to see you fly a synergy one day

I put an Align Gov on my R50 and it made it a whole different machine ....super easy to set up and has a small foot print so it fits well in tight spaces on a raptor. I had to make my own mount for the sensor (out of a blade grip off a set of woodies ...same as my tail extension). It didn't survive it first crash....no physical damage to the gov , just quit working. I then got an Aerospire Multi Gov . It cost a little more with the programmer board, but my next one will cost about the same as the Align . It has a lot more features like three different speeds in all flight modes.
cant wait to get one on my Hyper 50 this week.
I am actually doing some inverted hovers and piro punch outs now...
its kinda like sex....you dont have to be good at it to enjoy it.

That's awesome, Art. Keep watching videos, and pick a snippet of someone's flight (5 seconds worth) and try to do it on the sim many times. Then take it to the field. That's what I do, and I've been having allot of fun. My heli is very obedient.

PS: Piro flips are looking better.

Yes Art I still have the Pantera. It needs work before it will fly and I need money to do the work so its going to have to wait a bit.

Sam thanks alot I found your post about hooking up the DX7 to your sim. Took about 5 minutes.

Is it just me or is the DX7 alot more responive than the sim controller??? Do the models seem to be more stable to you ??? They seem to be more stable to me. I also get the benefit of getting more used to the controller that I fly with

Spektrum Receivers Bulletin

This is a valuable article.
Bottom line: do not skimp on cheap regulators and cheap battery packs. A quality regulator like the Fromeco Arizona with a quality mAh battery will do you very well.

And above all, check your battery voltage before every flight.
