Ok pilots and family members! Heres the official date!

Corpus Christi, TX Feb 15-17

If you were here last year, you know this was a "Pilot's" Funfly! and from the Rumor mill, its going to be bigger this year!!!!!!!!

I'm in, I made my room reservations today. As I remember, the auto contest was a dollar per chance! I have been brushing up on the spot landings, hang time is not really my strong suit.

I booked a room at the La Quinta Inn North, 5155 I-37 on the north end of Corpus Christi. It was $55.00 a night compared to $140 and $80 a night for stuff a little closer to the field. I didn't think the extra room cost was worth being a little closer. Corpus isn't that big of a town.

Leaves more $ for fuel, beer or heli parts!Fly it like you stole it!

Hope to have my Cessna finished in time to fly down, if not then it will be another road trip in the truck. Cutting it close, though...I'm still in Qatar at the moment and it could be a close call on getting back in time.

I just made reservation at the La Quinta just off I-37. But I got charged $59.00. I will be there Saturday. I have to work Friday.

Also got the guts for My new Pantera from Ron today. Should have it ready by time off the event.Is it the weekend yet?

I just booked the Red Roof Inn for $59/night...

Best option is to use maps.google.com, zoom in on Corpus Christi.
Then search for business type 'hotel'. The page will pin all hotels in Corpus. You can then read reviews and go to the main website to check rates/avail.-Jeff T.
