Nappyroots,

Can you tell me where to get those little mounting brackets/clamps for the fuel line that I see you have used to anchor your tubing to the frame? It seems like such a simple thing, but I can't find them online very easily...I'm probably not searching with the best term for them.

Any and most auto parts store, hardware store, or electronics store will have those line clamps.

I got my receiver on the back because herd you can loose your signal by "shadowing" your antenna wires. I read you need to keep the wires out in the open and not to hide them under your canopy, cause it caused a momentary block of the signal. I would like to move it to the front. Is there any truth to the shadowing myth? or is that just what it is?

Its the engine and muffler that will cause signal shadows. The canopy has no effect.

thanks for clearing that up. So if it's the engine and muffler what is a good rule for how far away the receiver should be?

Take a look at the pic of my set up at the beginning of this thread. The main Rx is just fine on the top of the radio tray.
