Just now, with one simple change, I corrected a long standing (months) problem with vibrations and motor power surges/chattering. What was that "one simple change"?...I switched my CC 35 (with version 1.55 installed) from governor mode to fixed throttle mode!
In governor, the vibes were shaking the verticle fin 1/2 to 1 inch wide (at the bottom end), and vibes were easily visible in the skids--as if the the main shaft is slightly bent. Plus, the motor (Neu 1107/2Y) was power surging in a jittering-chattering-chirping (annoying!) way that made the tail twitch. I reprogrammed the ESC from governor to fixed throttle and BAM!--no vibes at all, and a perfectly smooth motor!
So why is this so "Unbelievable" to me? Because I have been flying for 3 years ONLY in governor mode! With my Mega, I never had a problem with gov--it worked great! But with the Neu (that I installed a few months ago when upgrading to 4S), these vibes and power surges had me thinking the motor bearings were bad. But no more--I'm a believer in manual throttle now! Now I just need to get my manual throttle curves right for how I fly.
So, anybody have a recommendation for 3D manual throttle curve?
