Five0boy01. Well I have my flights timed at 9 mins which always gives me 30-45 seconds of extra fuel so I dont need to constantly look at my tank to see if I have fuel in it. and 2 Im not out to get 20 min flight times, the more fuel you put on the heli the heavier it is. why not put an extra tank on it if flight time is that important, heck the heli would fly like a raptor then. so why do you even have a 600N??? your heli, build, an fly it how you want.. at least your in this great hobby

I agree. The extra weight argument is weak. There is only so much weight that will be added to the heli in it's life. It's not gonna get fat as it gets older. For me the tank is an easy visual gauge. And it doesn't weigh a ton.

You're not going to see me without a header tank on a muffler pressure fuel system, no way. One real low flame out due to sucking a air bubble out back in 01' while practicing 3D which caused a good bit of damage is what did it for me. It may be preference(if your into 3D I believe it should be required as much as the muffler on the engine is), but there is no denying, no fuel, no flame, no go. $15 and I can do hard 3D on the deck till the main tank is almost empty and not worry about a hiccup on the engine. On a YS engine though, I do not use a header tank because of the pressurized system, stays consistent to the very end.

no fuel magnet, completly stock! and I fly hard 3d. I feel totaly confident that I dont need a header tank. I acually was at a funfly and was doing some tic tocs when my engine cut out so I landed all was good.. I was like hmm wtf happened.. I acually ran out of fuel! was hardly a drip left.. next time I remembered to start the timer! lol time goes by fast when your having fun

That's been my experience too. No header tank or fuel magnet, perfectly consistent runs until the last few drops with muffler pressure on my hyper doing what I consider pretty decent 3D. Over 20 hours or airtime and 136 flights and never a problem.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
