I have heard nothing but good things about the Pantera. Seems like a good heli especially for the price.

Guys, With Brad's son's wedding going on it isnt looking good for me on May16th weekend. I am going to get up there though. I will try to come for one of the heli hut weekends. I definatly wanna get up there and fly with you all.

Hey guys I am in Sacramento Ca, 95 degrees! and San Diego this week. Still no sign of that funny white stuff you talk about but I will keep looking. It might even be too hot to fly! Did I just say that? Still planning on making a trip up there this summer to check out the hut, you know inspect for compliance of aviation standards.

Fly-in update
I just got word from the USCG and they said they will be doing a fly-over for the May 16th event in Traverse City. They have prior obligations so they can't stop for a static display.

Rich, I see you are from Swartz Creek, I grew up there

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter

If you must know, lunch will be served with the first course being succulent fried calamari with a peppercorn mayonnaise. Then filet mignon with a delightful au jus and a vegetable medley. After that a creme caramel flan for desert.

Landing fee will be $50/person.

If no one wants to pay that then TRAMPS will put on hot dogs and chips. Possibly cookie burgers.

No more cookie burgers for me after the heart attack, imagine that! Nick, do you need the $50.00 now or can we pay on the 16th, that dinner sounds great, Chief

I think I have to take back today's statements about Futaba service... I got an email back from them today and they have already repaired my radio at no charge. They also gave me a new case and antenna for my 608 RX because I was stupid and broke a tab off the case before I sent it in. I don't know why they replaced an antenna though. I just sent it in with my radio since it had been crashed 3 times just for them to check it out for the heck of it.

Looks like I will have the radio for the weekend after all. Turns out the problem was as I suspected, they installed the new HD resistors and encoders.

The Pressha
Oh, how the pressure of our peers had lead to such exhilerating achievments in Chris's backyard. I just don't get that anymore. As you can tell from my progress through the sunny Texas winter months. Thanks guys I needed that! Now if it would just stop raining I would get out there again.
