I am looking to get into turbine helis and need to find a CD to certify my skills for the AMA waiver. Is there a CD living close to Boston, Mass? Local AMA guy told me that noone from our district has CD certification from AMA, most likely I need to travel to find one.
Thanks,
Val.

I've heard a few different versions. All from people who should know. But IRCHA is said to be taking over the heli turbine waiver from the JPO. Depending on which version you hear, the waiver is supposed to be signed by a Turbine HELI CD as opposed to the past where it could be signed by just a turbine CD. If that is true then you may have a harder time than you think finding a CD unless you are lucky enough to have one in your area. I don't see much on the IRCHA site and nobody I talked to had the same story as anyone else I talked to. So I got mine before they screw it all up.
