Be careful when buying from out of Europe, unless it's really a very good deal.
You may end up paying import taxes and the final price will be similar to buying from your local importer in France, and you will have to send it to the country of purchase for warranty incase you need it.
I bought a 9Z from Tower in USA when I was a beginner and suffered all this problems: had to pay import taxes (similar to VAT, 16% or so), the module/receiver were 72 Mhz while in europe 35 Mhz is the legal frequency band, so I had to buy 35 Mhz module and receiver from europe, the tx had problemas after a year and didn't have warranty (1 year only in USA, 2 Years at least by law in Europe), and sending costs with assurance to USA where similar to the price of a 9C. I ended buying a 9c from Robbe, and learnt some things .
Hope this helps.
Is there a life outside the sim?
