That's a funnel. I did slow ones in that video because of limited space. Out in the field, those get steep and fast. The backward circles become hurricanes.Turn on a dime. Flip like a quarter. Feel like a million bucks.

WOW thats a BCPP I could be interested in I will be putting mine back together someday with belt tail but now Im gonna keep pushing forward with the king 2. Gino whats that heli fly like now? Does it still fly like a bladecpp? You know the bouncy jittery flight always needing to track blades or make adjustments in trim or pushrods. It looks solid I would expect it to be much smoother than a stock cpp.No Really I am the club President!!!

The CopterX is a TRex clone. It flies nowhere near a Blade. My belt modded Honeybee CP2 is the best a micro could be. Tail is very solid and precise. Heli is relatively twitchier but still very tame when I dialled in expos.Turn on a dime. Flip like a quarter. Feel like a million bucks.

I was looking at the pics didn't see the video. The pics aren't bcpp with carbon frame and belt mod its an CopterX?

I'm just looking to build my Bcpp into a good stable heli for flying in my home.

rudderman...the G90 has a problem with drift, its just the way it is...going seperates may minimize it a lot but it MAY still be there especially in hot weather.Compass helis Support Team

Rudderman, how far are you willing to go? What are you after, powerful punches or reliability for sport flying? There is a trade-off for each setup. A 3D machine would need a stronger tail with a strong motor.

If you are into basic hovering and forward flight, I recommend:

Hacked Phoenix 10 esc, ARC 20-34-110 motor with 10T, G90, stock or dual motor tail.

Turn on a dime. Flip like a quarter. Feel like a million bucks.

As of now im still just sport flying.Im not on the 3d level yet.But i would like to have the seperates to get rid of that darn 3in 1 deal.I notice that during hover and when I punch it at times it drifts a little not much but enough to annoy me lol.So I basically want a rock solid tail.I have the direct drive tail motor and a g90.But I need something more solid.Don't talk to me you will make me crash

My setup:

Spektrum AR6100 rx
11.1v 1000mah 12c lipo
ParkBEC 5v
Phoenix 25 brushless esc
Elf Hobby 4200KV brushless motor
J-Team 9T steel pinion
Freestyle Belt Mod (http://www.freestyle-hobby.com)
Hitec HS-50 tail servo

More cost effective setup:

Or just ditch the Blade and buy a Honeybee King 2, DX7, and brushless separates.

Mid level setup:

ARC 20-34-110 with HPI RS4 10T pinion
Phoenix 10 esc
G90 hh gyro
GWS ICS50-J tail esc
GWS EDP-50XC dd tail
CN-12 heatsink
Turn on a dime. Flip like a quarter. Feel like a million bucks.

Your backward's flying is makeing u legendary around the forums,Gino. I have really enjoyed your video's of the blade. The problem I see with the belt driven tail's is their too slow & heavy. Yet, they look very precise and great for sport flying. My question in the interest of learnng is, what do you mean by "hacked CC10" above.

Backwards flying is no different from flying forward. You just need to spend time learning it.It will probably take just as long. Of course it requires that you are proficient with all orientations. Slow piro is a good trainer.

I'm not sure about slow. I have not done piro flips yet. But it does hold its own when flipping over. Tail is quick. Piro rates can be insane. Heavy yes. But if you see my heli fly out, it is not an issue.

Hacked means hardwiring the electrical connections to a standard 4-in-1 . This is sourcing an rx throttle signal by connecting the esc servo signal and ground wires. The red wire is not connected since we want the 4-in-1 to supply rx voltage via its bec (battery eleminator circuit).

Hacked is a term used when components don't just plug and play.
