Servo Screw Backing out every 30 seconds of flight
I finally had time to get the Bergen back in the air and ran into some issues. I'm using the 401/9254 combo on the tail and on spoolup I noticed it wasn't holding well. So I killed it and took a look at the tail. I noticed the screw holding the control arm on the 9254 rudder servo was about half way out. I tightened it up and spooled it up again. Got it up into a hover and the tail started acting up again. Landed and the screw was half way out again. Tightened then gave it throttle/pitch until it was light on the skids and let it sit there for 5 minutes. The screw doesn't fall out, it just comes out about half way then stays like that.

What do I need to look at? Is the servo toast or is there something else I need to look at? Thanks
Blake

I would verify you have the right screw. Assuming its correct I would go ahead get a gearset and replace the gear with the output shaft.

The alternate would be to put it in with A VERY SMALL drop of MED (not thin) CA but for the 8 bucks or so a gearset costs its a lot cheaper than the tail letting go on a Bergen.

Ya just talked to a buddy and I'm ordering a gear set. It seems like it might just be stripped out. Hopefully its something as simple as that, I have a photo shoot next weekend.Blake

but i dont see how that would make your tail act up, if its not comming out all the way, then the horn cant fall off? ya you should fix it, but you sure thats what is cuzing your tail to go funny?

The horn is coming off to the point where its just hanging on by 1mm or so allowing it to flex and move.Blake
