Burned up an Align 35 ESC
I posted this in the ESC motor page but I wanted to see if you guys can help me figure this one out so It doesnt happen again. Here is the link, please view and give me some advise.......

Yup... if you look at the pics I see the tape on the mosfet transistors didn't have a good heat transfer which in turn burned up.

Should I use a CC 35 or a CC 45? This motor, Medusa 28-40-3400 can get up too 300w draw at times.

Mine held up pretty well but I modded it by taking out the nice insulating double side tape and installing the heat sink with heat transfer epoxy.Andy

After doing some extensive reading here with people and their heating and burning up issues with ESC's, I think I am leaning more towards a Kontronik 40-6-18 unit instead.
