3d Pro, post your linkage lengths please
Hi guys
I still havent had the heart to get rid of my 3d Poo.
I have never been able to get it to be very responsive, alwasy very sluggish on cyclic.
So, could you please post your linkage lengths and your swash throw percentages please.
Also your pitch range, both collective and cyclic.
Mine has HS56, the ball link servo to swash link upgrade, all metal head and tail.
Got the ball on the blade grip in the middle hole.
She's been gathering dust for some time now, help me work her out!
Such beautiful machining.
Oh yeah, what did you guys use to replace the crappy tail linkage wire?
Flexes so much its silly lol.
Also, who here is using Flightpower packs on one of these?
What size? Could you post a pic of how it looks with it fitted?
Flight times? HS?
I know I know, lots of questions lol.
Even if you can answer just one, please do so.
Cheers
For the love of the hobby

Well i just sold mines i couldn't take messing with it any more, in my opinion it will never be a good 3d (or even close) machine, anyway i cant help on linkage length but i made a new tail linkage from a spare carbon boom strut and a couple of ball links epoxied on the ends, works good but my one was a little short making it a little tail heavy, i used a FP 1250, it was a little weak for the motor a 1500 is better, the fp pack didn't fit that well, the back of the battery was about parallel with the back of the motor and the rest stuck out the front, i had to cut the canopy (or just never use it) to make it fit.

Good luck, i spent $$$$ and ages messing with mines only to have an average flying heli, i swore id never sell it but i have since changed that to swearing i will never buy another century heli/listen to there bum boy genovia again!

Oh flight time was about 5 mins with a HS of about 2800/3000 using a jgf 400df

Thanks Geeo
I feel your pain, I just refuse to let a toy beat me after I spent so much on it.
It will fly well if I have to throw it around myself lol.
Its a nice shelf filler
I agree about battery placement, it sucks.
