Quick UK head vs. Thunder Tiger vs. G-Force
Which is better to put on a Raptor 90? Why?
I did a quick search and didn't find much.

I found out that my LHS might be able to get the G-Force head. So I will try it out.

don`t think Kasama will be producing the 90 head anytime soon. I hear TT is working on a CCPM setup for the 90 not sure if it is E, or M configuration.B.O.A.T. Break Out Another Thousand!

hello everyone,

What you will find about the G-force head blocklike many upgrade/aftermarket heads is it uses the identical geometry as the stock TT metal unit but with less mast support area. The stock TT metal block has 18mm longer metal engagement "clamp-up" into the mast below the head retention bolt. The blade bolt spacing, spindle length, spindle height above the mast, flybar location etc are a TT copy for location or positioning. The flybar support is stronger on the G-force head block but the OEM unit has no problems in this area. The phase ring uses setscrew method to secure to the mast which will cause an indent tending to make precision adjustments find the original indent (like flybar arms once seated with setscrews into the flybar)G-force use an O-ring damper system which you can get from Ricks for the stock TT head if you so desire. It should fit the metal TT head and I'd certainly ask Ron and the lads. I do not recommend using the plastic head for hard flying even though it is in the picture below.

The O-ring works similar to the Infinivation system in stiffness but without the solid plastic on metal teeter limitation so many like. I made up some metal sleeves for the TT block like Ricks sell to take Vibe 90 O-rings. It seemed to work well just not quite the same as the Infinivation system.

The TT head has the center support pin which can be removed with the Infinivation system if you like, some prefer to use the pin so the option is present.

You now have the choice of the new TT 90-3D damping system similar to the Infinivation, adjustable TT mixers, adjustable TT flybar ratio with an extended teeter angle. All I'm saying is the G-force head while a good option will certainly not exceed the OEM stuff performance wise. It's all in your setup, structure, how you build, and available options, or in some cases your head

well, given the price of TT upgrades, the G-Force still represents a good deal, and clamps to the main shaft as well.
