How many are not buying a 600N until Align fixes it?
I am not buying until Align fixes the one way problem and addresses the fan issue. Any one else holding off?

Hmmmm, they did address the fan. The one way another story. However, I seem to recall another brand that has had oneway problems for 10 years and people still buy it. In fact said brand STILL sells their kit with horrible tail hub that comes apart at anytime, and they have the upgrade to it for sale for 6.99usd

Dont buy it if you dont want to, but you are missing out on probably one of the best flying 50s on the market.

Oh, I got one from the very first batch and I am getting another next week.

I bought and still would even though I posted several problems that are just really poor oversight. Align has a new alum fan but I don't know if it will be in the kit or as an upgrade. I have been flying since before switchless inverted so I have seen new kits come out and most have to fix something. Hopefully Align will do better than some companies. The jury is still out.

Not every kit is going to be 100% perfect. Even with all the extensive testing done. I own a 600N and I like it just as much if not more than my 90SE.

I really want one of these. But dont see a reason to buy one until the know issue are addressed. Why start out knowing that there is a good possibility the one way is going to lock up? My son has a 600E that I love to fly.

They have released an upgraded aluminum fan. However, unless you are going to run a gov it isnt an issue.

And even if the one way does lockup, you can still fly. It isnt going to cause you to crash.

BTW, 10gallons through mine and one severe crash and my oneway still hasnt locked up.

I have 3 trex 600s and have not had any one way bearing problems. And although I own a replacement aluminum fan, I have yet to replace it since it is working flawlessly. Even though you read that there are problems, a lot is blown out of proportion. Most 600 owners are flying their Helis without problems. If you wait for that perfect heli to come along then you'll never get in the air.Joe

What is the problem? There is nothing wrong with the T-rex 600N.
Why sit and wait when you could be flying, I have over 9 hours on my 600N and not one problem with it......Have fun waiting

I have not had an issue with the one way. I did have an issue with the fan, but it was half my fault because I had been warned. Over all, mine works great, and I will say the performance is insane.

However, my one big hobby in life is RC. So I prefer to buy the best stuff. The issues I have with the 600N are not really operational, but just cheap materials they used here and there.

Have you ever dated a girl that was really good in bed, but you knew you weren't going to marry her?

That's kind of how I feel about the 600N. When it is setting on my desk, I can't get to excited about it. But I must admit, it out performs at lease two of the 90's I have flown.

The damn thing flies so good, I have learned to live with the WalMart Bling.

I will be looking at the Vibe 50 very closely at IRCHA. But I have a feeling it will have to go on a diet if they are going compete with the 600N.

Ok I just bought a 600N 2 days ago. I just put one of my EVO50s in the dirt hard enough to call it a right off.
I can say that I haven't heard anything bad about them, but I haven't really looked. I just read that they are are a hell of a flyer.
What am I looking out for? Just a bad one-way bearing? Whats with the Gov. issue? I plan on using a GV-1 in it.

Thanks

i have heard/experienced kits missing some parts and align giving me a huge hassle on getting those parts to complete the kit... i have a feeling the 600n will be my first nitro bird, but I am gonna wait a year or so.

Waiting means you miss out on the fun.

I have a few machines and Align offers alot in the marketplace.

I dont consider the small niggles (if you even have them) to be a problem. Anything that is found wrong in a kit is upgraded and sorted in quick time (faster than anyone else) other issues that people complain about seem to get considered and taken care of as well.

One of the wonderful things is that the parts are affordable so if you dont like the plastic fan the ali one will be cheap.

The one way issue i have yet to see first hand so i have no idea whats going on there.
we can never have too many, can we ?
