Good job

Nice Fwd mount. You may want to rotate that gimbal around down the road to give the better vertical shot. I had to get some isolators on my machine just quiet the gimbal down.

Good luck
Let me know if I can help

What are isolators? Where do you get them. I use foam to isolate vibration.

Isolators at Stock Drive product $11.97 each P/N A10Z40-1215AA2. They work much better than foam on the items like gimbals that weigh a couple of lbs plus.

Hope this helps you out

yeah Bro im lucky to have the electric, but i still mounted in the front,it is not all done yet but coming along just fine, ill post the pictures in alitlebit,it is actually very nice and for what you and i payed for them you cant beat it,pictures to come

here we go,like i said it is not complete just yet, and im thinking about making it all out of carbon if i can but it will work just fine the way it already is,it is all made of G10 and it is very simple to make,

insanemembrane you can make yours like this too,but you just have to do some thinking to come up with a design that will work for you Bro,i used some cardboard to figure out the design for mine and then i made the final pices of G10,

i have lots of G10 but theyre litle pices, they might still work for you,ill sell them cheap for you,but well the main thing here is to make the camera mount work

round 2.

i made this one today, took me all day to make it but the end results are great as you can see,it is pretty much the same as the one from the first pictures but i like it way better,

still need to do some triming on the front of it and have to instal the pan servo, this can be setup as 360 rotation but i just dont want to cut the front battery mount and this way i can take the camera mount off and fly 3D with it,

it only takes about half an hour to remove it,same if you want to put it back on

yup,i thought so too,but man thats alot of work,ah,it was fun anyway, this camera mount will accomodate an SLR camera or a video camera just fine and is not as heavy,

too bad i didnt have Carbon sheets to have made it out of carbon, but at least G10 black in colour would of been ok,now ill have to see if i can find some of those vibration isolators like eyeinsky used in his camera mount, but for now,ill have to give it a try,and see how good i really built it
