DX7- What's in the Box?
Stupid question I know. Just opened my DX7 and it has a bag with the Bind Plugs and some other plastic plug that I can't identify. It is a male and female coupler with a loop of string connected to the female. I assume that the loop is a harness, but what is the coupler for?

It is for your bind plugs, it is a quick connector so you can put them on your keys.

Thanks, I figured it had something to do with the Bind Plug, but even knowing that I still can't see how to make any use of it. The stinkin plugs won't plug into it. I'm thinking it's just a POS designed to irritate me!This Thing Has More Bugs Than a Big City Flop House.

Yeah that's it. The one in the middle pulls apart, but what good it is I don't know. I can't see any way to use it with the Bind Plug. This Thing Has More Bugs Than a Big City Flop House.

I'm still confused, mine does not pull apart and it is wires going to terminal pins, not string. I always assumed that it was so you could bind throught the charging jack, but my switch harness only has red and black wires so it will not work.

My DX7 came with the 2 that are looped together. I never got a third single one. I also got a switch harness witch you should have. The 2 that are looped together are male and female. You can bind with RX installed in heli or not installed. If installed already you would just use the male bind plug to plug into the batt port on the RX. If not installed you can use the switch harness to power from a RX batt, in that case you would need to use the female plug.
