Alonso Cheat just desserts.
Just seen the news, Alonso has been dropped five places for deliberately delaying Hamilton for his qualifying lap. FIA getting it right for once.

While it would appear that the FIA's call was valid, I wish they would have left it alone.

I predict Hamilton will check out, and nobody will touch him unless the car breaks. It would have been a more interesting race had the FIA looked the other way.

Alonso was following the team orders when he was waiting at the pitlane.
The lollipop guy raised it without paying attention to the manager order who were waiting for free racetrack.
Hamilton doesn´t observe the team orders at Q1 and therefore he must wait behind Alonso at pitlane.
There is no one FIA law to sustain the penalty. If anyone knows the article number McLaren has violate please let them know.
There is no FIA law to sustain the penalty based on team strategy in the pitlane for the Q series, again, if anyone knows the law number that could justify this let them know.

Too much risk for a self based strategy of Alonso having Hamilton the best time lap at the moment and passing below the red lights with only 0,03 secs of margin, don´t you think so?

Alonso was defended by R.Denis (strange knowing their crispy relation) letting all know Hamilton´s responsibility on it.

Do you need anything else? Cheats? where do you saw that? Who told you it was an individual action of Alonso? is that the information your reporters are writing in UK?

FIAs credibility has drop once again below anything else ever known with you novice pilot.

I will not go into discussion about who is the best pilot, I have my own oppinion about pilot level and how eachone is playing their cards that of course will differ with many others, but looks like FIA interference will still have much more responsibility on the final Championship results to compensate them and keep them more like a circus spectacle instead of a sport competition

Formula 1 is all fixed and Ferrari seem to be able to dictate to the FIA

Its getting a joke of a sport..

I dont recognise Schumacher as being half as good a driver as he was made out to be,,he always played dirty, took Hill out to win a championship, tried it again with Vilneuve and always had a second driver who would not be allowed to win to maximise his own points

CON if you ask me

I have not looked into it enough to decide weather or not the FIA was right. I did hear that they listen to the tapes, and did not believe Ron D. Story.

as for ferrari running the FIA, not so sure about that. what about Renault and Mclaren's good years in the last ten?

I don't think it is nearly as fixed as NASCAR!

Round and round they go, who will win, Only NASCAR knows!

Hamilton as predictied.

good kid, he will go far.

I may have been wrong but the look on Ron Dennis's face as he dragged Alonsos manager down the pit lane by the scruff of his neck, said it all. I agree somewhat about Ferrari running FIA and some of Schumachers tactics and who can forget him carefully parking his car so considerately for Alonso at Monte Carlo. I still think Hamilton is a better driver than Alonso . It must be galling to have the new kid on the block appear out of the blue when you are world champion. Any way don't mention the Spanish Armada to Alonso. I think Hamilton did once but he got away with it.

No idea about what R.Denis told Alonso´s manager but the tapes recorded Hamiltons discussion with R.Denis that finished with Hamilton telling him not to f..k him anymore in the future. That makes R.Denis to throw the earphone in a hungry fashion that was at first misunderstand as a hungry act due to Alonso delay at pitlane.
Who is the best one must be decided on the racetrack and not at FIA´s offices. Let´s them run and glory for the best.

what do you mean with that, sorry, I can not understand it, maybe it´s my lack on knowledge of your language.

Alonso is acting like a child, he thought he was going to get it all his own way this year, and be the number one driver for McLaren's and world champion again, but now can't handle being out driven and up staged by the new kid on the block, It is so refreshing to see someone like Lewis Hamilton taking it all in his stride.Just smile

Like a child? He is doing nothing but what the team orders tell him to do and accepts it like a man even when he is not agree with it.
Of course that doesn´t mean he must show his manager a happy face and a big smile when he is not happy with the decissions. Is that what your refering as "acting like a child"?
On the other hand there is Louis doing what else he want no matter what consecuences for the team his acts can have, letting his father do a second game in the back and trying to solve it later (when there is no time for react) with simple excuses.
No, Alonso is not confortabily placed in McLaren, The team seems not to be very equitable and that´s nothing a pilot must fight with.
May be what happened this weekend was a way to give Alonso the one tourn advantage they all accorded each pilot must have in races where the team lap is under 1.23 secs but your pilot only accepts that when it is in his favour, do you know what I´m talking about?
In Monaco your pilot did not reduce the engine RPM when the team asked both pilots to do it and tried desperately to catch Alonso hitting the walls many times and overstressing a first cicle engine. And you talk about childs?
Ok, you have a fast pilot, but a pilot only that needs to learn a lot not only as a pilot but as a person.
May be the FIA will show us a the second new law built arround Hamilton again (the first one was a reality based on the crane help in Germany)to regulate internal strategys in the pitlane for the saturdays. Next one will be to determine the pilots acts in the WC, you know, more than two shakes for the last drop will be penalized.
