Landscape to Portrait orientatation - finally (Mast)
This is for the mast guys. Probably more guys on this forum than anywhere else.

Finally added the robot servo to rotate the camera in the air. Was doing it on the ground with my mount but the mod was just too easy to pass up. It rotates 90 degrees for landscape/portrait, plus about 20 degrees of additional leveling in each position.
The last change will be to activate the post view function of the DSLR so it can be viewed after each shot. Will require a second monitor rather than switching it upstairs. Will prove helpfull when taking low light shots. Still have one free path in my cable.

All controls are now "wired", "DSC", CCD, and power all go up the cable. Real easy to convert to radio again. The radio control aspect is better now with the new spread spectrum stuff.

Nice job

Rotation is a must have on the mast, if only for leveling.

The video swithching up top is easy.
I use a dual E switch
1st for cam and 2nd for video
I just add a relay to the second e switch with NC and NO to switch video over.

Works great.
A must have for the DSLR.
live mini cam view on the DSLR is generally not true color or contrast as you'd know.
So having the post shot view to check the true color and contrast is great.
And checking framing.

That is a good looking setup, if I could ever sell the bergen setup I think I would end up buying something like you have there.Blake
