Does the puffing go down? How much has been going back in when you charged it?

If it stays puffed after it cools, its pooched. If it goes back down, you may get it to live for a while if you're carefull with it.

The swelling does not subside.

I charge at 1C.
Takes about 1hr and is cold when finished.

If I fly it, the discharge time is the same, 8:30min and is not hot but I am still scraed of it and dont plan to fly it again.

If align will not take it back under warranty then I will destroy it in a most spectacular way.

And that will be the last Align battery I will ever buy.

My suggestion, do not charge a battery that is still swelled. I would send it in and try to get a replacement.

I have an Align battery as well with 20-30 flights on it and it swells after a flight slightly but it always goes down. Still kind of scary charging that sucker so I'll stick with the FP batteries, I only have one so far but compared to all my other batteries that one is hardly warm where as the others are hot.
