Strange rudder action
If I move my rudder stick slightly one way or the other, the blades react accordingly, but if I stop and hold the stick in that position, the blades continue to move in the direction commanded. They will move all the way to the stop.
If I move the stick and let it come back to neuteral, the blades come back to the centered position.
I am using the 401/9254 combination and this action only happens in HH position.
I have never seen this action and wondered if other flyers was the same and if this was normal. I have been flying like this and had never noticed it.

the HH mode does make for some odd t/r blade behavior.

usually seen as 'when I release the rudder stick, the t/r blades
stay displaced' but not limited to that.

Don't know if you are near your heli, but if you had time to check, do your blades continue to move in the direction commanded if you move the stick to a positin and hold that position?

I dont hvae it near me but it wouldnt surprise me to see it happen.

you have to understand that the gyro makes the blades behave oddly
since ON THE GROUND, the machine doesn't RESPOND the way it does when
airborne.

You're asking the system to establish a certain yaw rate and when it
senses that the machine is NOT doing it, it continues to ask for it
by moving the blades.

In heading hold, on the bench its waiting for the helicotper to do what its told, its being fooled into thinking its not giving enough rudder to it pours it on till the stop.

In flight the helicopter will respond.
