Auto hub lubrication
Hello everybody!! What kind of lubrication do you apply on the one way bearing in the auto hub?

Triflow or a VERY LIGHT machine oil such as sewing machine, air tool or turbine oil.

Triflow works the best of everything I've tried. You have to keep after it too.

No grease.

Automatic Transmission Fluid.

It provides a light coat of oil and it is sticky.

I have had good luck with it over the years.

Good luck,

Grease is your problem, it gums up the rollers eventually.

Clean it out with brake cleaner and lube it with something light.

did the same thing, use some auto carb cleaner and get the grease out and lube with ATF and no more problems.

I use triflow. The only time it locked up was when I set the tightened on the tail belt too much. It locked up three times when I did that. After I loosened it up a bit, it hasn't locked up since.
