Thought you guys might like to see where I worked this Summer
This is Ninnekah Oklahoma. I work for my uncle every summer on his cattle farm which consists of over 900 acres along with 1000+ head of cattle. These pictures were taken from 67 ft. feed leg (it seems like 150 ft. at least...scary). And this year I also learned how to drive this 12-speed volvo
Enjoy...

By the way, that john deere tractor is HUGE up-close.

Duh
The one right after the tractor is the best spot. It's a perfect OPEN space (at the end of that dirt trail there).

Thats really cool, I grew up on a farm. Don't get used to driving that truck though. Its fun at first but really sucks in every way possible later on.

jesus christ, a 67ft feed leg,

what the hell did it come off of, a dinosaur? how many cows does it feed, how long does it last. did you have to hunt the dino yourself, field dress (or butcher shop/meat house)....

wtf, thats nuts.

Well, he hasn't quite finished, so we're not sure how many it feeds. Roughly, it should feed about a quarter of what he has if everything goes like he plans...At a time that is. It can pump SERIOUS amount of grain, though. He showed the mini version he's using temporarily...And even that little sucker can shoot grain like nothing I've seen before. His feed leg should work out as much as a commercial feed leg....We'll see.

Good stuff Tommy. When you said Volvo I expected an estate car with someone driving wearing slippers and smoking a pipe. Thats the image they have over here.

By the way, my uncle changed out the turbo in that truck....That thing PULLS. I've ridden in several trucks like that, but none with that acceleration. Once we hauled concrete feed bunks (he installed the turbo solely for that purpose) and our over-all weight was 85,000 pounds
Let's just say it wasn't quite legal

I applaud you for actually getting out of the house and working. Most kids sleep or play video games all day....good for you.

Oh, gosh, I hate video games like you would not believe. I find it hard to get on the sim sometimes (no joke). It wasn't easy either. It was MINIMUM 12 hour days, 7 days a week for 2 1/2 weeks. I got $400 and could not be happier
There were 4 nights in a row I didn't go to bed till 2 A.M. bailing hay....That actually is fun. You have a 454 cubic engine, geared extremely low, to play with and that hesston baylor will swallow ANYTHING

So, at 2 1/2 weeks straight at 12 hours a day I figure 200 hours minimum; and you got 400 bucks?

You wouldn't want to come work for me would you?

J/K, I used to go out to my buddies place sometimes & help with haying. I got free beer....
