REAR GYRO MOUNT WITH CROSS SUPPORT
This was my solution to the rear gyro and incorporating a cross support.

I had spare plates and I wanted to make it so I could remove the tail without having to destory the gyro tape each time. So I left a 1/8" gap in between the plate and tail gearbox. I used foamtape to fill under the plate and stabilize it.

I like the idea of being able to remove the tail unit without having to redo the gyro tape...But Honey, I can't live with just stock.....

One thing I will be curious about, given recent posts about vibration in the tail due to the grey gears, is how much extra gain I get from the gyro but isolating it and not mounting directly to the tail gearbox.

It's a 611, I thought you set the gain to 38 or something like that and leave it. Is it a belt driven sport or TT drive pro.

IT's a TT but some who have put their gyro up front have indicated that they were able to increase the gain so I am curious if I can achieve the same in the back
