Cooling fan and engine : Jason setup and built
i am still assembling my trex 600n sport but i encounter a little bit problem on the cooling fan material thus the material of cooling fan is a little bit flex, i think some of you have encountered this problem already. ( governor sensor cannot performs consistently). So the solution is an cnc cooling fan upgrade.

And if i am not mistaken from other member thread writes " jason K said he tested some cnc cooling fan. he said cnc cooling fan will decrease engine performances by 20-30%. so if this true, then, then current available cnc cooling fan in the market is not energy efficient? or will align come out a new energy efficient cooling fan?
i am just a newbie, what cooling fan should i use right now? does my thumb will feel the diffenrences when using cnc cooling fan? or is this related to part number #50nb012 that will easily slips and wear through if we use cnc cooling fan?

So any recommendation?

Well another question, ..it seems that jason likes to promote his superb helis can fly well out of the box. i own a synergy, does my synergy fly good? yes it is, my synergy fly so well that even the tail blade holder and the tail blade flew away cause the m3 screw connected to tail hub broke in mid air, 4 feet from the ground after it take off.Does my heli ever crashed before the tail blade flew off. the answer is never crash and is only 3 months old by that time. afterwards, i believe kasama making a new upgrade for the tail hub..and i have not try it yet. well, i am not sure what caused the m3 screws to break, is it because the tail hub quality and the stock tail blade (sab) is to heavy for m3 screws to hold...

And luckily, i am nott injured and nobody in the area hurt also.

But when jason krause or any synergy reps come to jakarta, i will ask
would they responsible for this kinda of incident.. i am still keeping this synergy heli... for my flying and other purpose...

this last couple days, i have no time to argue with all of JK's fan..
Well, one of you said. why do you want to defend jk from his flying skill? he is a world class flyier and do not forget he finished at 6th on 3XFC, duh!. that is a real acomplishement!! But in certain point i agree with you guys about his world class pilot, which is moving from synergy to align..
Well, eventhough if he finished number one, is still doesn't matter..
6 months ago, i have a dream; i want to be the same level as alan szabo, Jetchin, and curtis... but i realize that i have to drop my dream!.. i have a descent job and paid well. heheh.. my job can paid me play heli and i think is good enough.. and my question is, if i win a 3d master do i get paid well also??... NFL,NBA, MBL,... those athletes pays well. 3D pilot??

Heliruz, i think you also a 3d champion also in singapore but do you have a field to fly an 90 heli???

DJB78, my friends: freyaman and idhoverman are very respect to you because of you good flying skill. congratulation, my friends already JILOPAT you, and in return you should JILOPAT back.

it seems real thread for me!

Anyway, i will order geforce fan and in the mean time, i will use the stock fan. i adjust the fan aligment and put some locktite on the four screws that hold the plastic fan.. i hope this will hold.

Assembly
You can view these threads and kind of get lost in translation, you must keep in mind that not everyone is a top builder and or is very mechanically savvy at all. RC Helicopters are very complex machines and require a lot of mechanical ability to master and get right. Many 600N owners have complained about bad or failing Align parts when I have not experienced most of the problems that many are having. Its all about doing your home work and paying attention to detail and triple checking everything you do before and during your build, for instance as far as the clutch assembly goes on my 600N I balanced everything that could be balanced, first apart and then as a whole, Installed a Raptor clutch liner, bought and install a HF1216 One Way Needle Bearing 12x18x16 from VXB , I also dial indicated everything as well, after all this I took my time during assembly, locktite everything, torque down bolts with very even pressure to avoid any warping of any kind, I didnt over tighten the bolts holding the plastic fan to the housing, over tightening the plastic fan will cause nothing but problems, I dial checked all shafts even before assembly! balanced my main and tail rotor blades and guess what the results are, zero problems, when and if something does go wrong the first thing that is going to come to mind is what is it I missed, what did I do wrong, not what Align did wrong. Its time to turn the finger around and stop pointing it at Align, be accountable for your mechanical abilities and where they lack, improve them and triple check everything, you will find the results incredibly positive. I am not trying to come down on those with lesser mechanical abilities, just trying to help them out and educate. take your time, if you have any concerns during your build or if anything doesn't seem right stop what you are doing and take the time to resolve the problem, if you cant figure out what the problem is get on RR and start asking questions. Good luck and fly safe men....Jim

Note that there are two GForce fans

One is for energy saving - low air flow
This is following the same goals as JK

The other model is a high air flow fan,
it will take more power to drive,
that power comes from your engine
But if you live in a hot climate you may need this model

Just make sure of what you want and get the right model
(sorry - I can't remember the two part numbers)

Protos | Logo 400 & 500 | Sceadu Evo | Freya Evo | Trex600N | Avant FX
