Over 50% of America agrees with Sealerman to some degree and most of the rest of the world does too. Just because you CONS yell when you say something doesn't make you right.
Oh and just so you know I'm no Dem either. I think they are all just as bad as each other. But this current wanker in office is putting all Conservatives in a bad light.

Answer the question sealerman.
Have we learned nothing! Sealer doesnt have answers, he is a libtard. They can only point fingers and demand accountability and blame W and the CONs for the worlds problems. The "party" hasnt given them the answer, so all they can do is repeat the party mantra, its all the Conservatives fault. And at the very same time claim that conservatism is dead.

Agrees with what? That W is the reason the bridges are falling? Because of the war I guess, or as some idiot professor said last night global warming. Heard a good point today, the Democrats just expanded the SCHIP program, which is supposed to provide health insurance to children of poor families. It now covers families of four who make up to $82,000 and "children" to the age of 25. $10 billion a year for the next five years. Incidentally, the cost estimated to fix all of the bridges in this country that were rated as structurally deficient, $9 Billion over 20 years. Their response to the infrsatrucure issue, revenue enhancements. That is "progressive" speak for taxes.

Yea right Helo, 82K and up to 25 years of age get real. Do you read your own posts? Here is a link to the programs Q&A.

This is why I just call you guys names, $9 Billion in your dreams.
"The American Society of Civil Engineers estimates that the USA needs to spend $1.6 trillion over five years to put its infrastructure — which includes some 590,000 bridges — in good condition."

Well how the hell do you want to pay to fix the bridges? You see to a CON everything comes down to $$$ thats why they cheerlead for war but don't want to fight one.
I just might lay out my plan to run this country, not that any of you CONtards would understand it.

The ONLY reason money doesn't get put into roads like it should is simply because roads can't vote.

Sealerman, answer the question, what would you do if you ran the country?

MasterCrasher your smarter than that, it's because it easy to ignore a problem when you think someone else is responsible. I am all for small Gov't, low taxes and security, but these scumsbags that call themselve Conservatives in DC are playing us like a 2 bit Pikaloe. They say Gov't can do anything good for anyone yet these Corps throw tons of money at them. I bet that these corps think that Gov't is worth every penny they pay to own it.

Jesus man do I have to do everything for you! $9B for 20 years EQUALS $1.8T. You really should take your asshat off and pay attention.
Here is a link to the programs Q&A.
Insert above statement here. Do you have any idea what your government is doing Sealer. That is the program as it stands now, here is what the House just passed to renew it since it expires in Sept.
Title 1, Subtitle D, section 131
(1) IN GENERAL.—Section 1902(l)(1)(D) of the
9 Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1396a(l)(1)(D)) is
10 amended by striking ‘‘but have not attained 19 years
11 of age’’ and inserting ‘‘but is under 19 years of age
12 (or, at the option of a State and subject to section
13 131(d) of the Children’s Health and Medicare Pro14
tection Act of 2007, under such higher age, not to
15 exceed 25 years of age, as the State may elect)’’.
The eligibility requirements are 200% of poverty level, which for a family of four is $41,300. The Senate version of the bill doubles that figure.

We could start by stop carrying a fourth of this country that refuses to work or pay taxes. Cut spending on social welfare and unnecessary government. Lets not forget about the $392M in tax payer money that was just spent on a new stadium for the Twins. Too bad no one can get there now

LOL! You guy right ahead Squealer, I would love to see what you think we should be doing in this country since we have it so screwed up. Not that I expect you to, more talk from a libtard and no action.

Yea and do you think that the bridges won't age during that 20 years. That figure is to bring the infrastructure up to date now not 20 years from now. How many bridges will fall waiting for their turn over 20 years.

I agree 100%, I drive an oil truck in the winter some times and I have delivered free oil to this one house and they had a Lexus in the garage. I think we can afford to help those who are truely in need but things have gotten out of hand. If they catch someone taking advantage of SS programs they should lock them up for a very long time.
Helo which party do you think is more friendly to Business? And I don't mean in away that gets them to hire more people, I mean in away that let them get away with murder.

You really think 590,000 bridges are going to be fixed tomorrow There are road projects here that have been going longer than 5 years, and they are on the ground.

Well lets see there is Enron, Worldcom, S&Ls, Tyco, Qwest. All of whom were being pilfered under a Democrat President and Republican Congress. So I guess that depends on how you want to spin it. Of course you have to consider that the task force that has prosecuted most of these was formed under a Republican President and Congress. So you tell me Sealer.

And notice I didnt say conservative, these people are not conservatives. Regardless of what the party tells you repeating that over and over doesnt make it any more true.

Sealer, I am glad to see I can agree with you on something.

My sister and brother in law are one of those. They get food stamps, medical, the whole ball of wax. He is contemplating quitting his job because he got a raise and they want to cut some of his benefits.... What is truely sad is, he is a smart guy. Heavy into electronics, would have no trouble getting a real job, but would rather work part time and suck off the governments teat.

These Con's have demonized what it means to be an American and now we are seeing the reality of their ideology. Pre-emptive and endless war, debt, the loss of personal freedoms and now the crumbling of our infrastructure. Does anyone still believe these idiots have the answer to anything?
the answer lies in your post...for either party, BTW.

Conlibs...stop the segregation and unite as americans. This is the only salvation to this nation.

Research...divide et impera...been dishing this out lately for a reason.

So now...live and learn.

Your right Pistol, I'm going to TRY to stop using Conservative as a label. I think what it comes down to is weather or not you are able to see a big enough part of the real BIG PICTURE. I think the smaller your view the more you buy into what we're being total.
