spectrum transmitter and the Z50-800
just set up the new spectrum and 7000 receiver on the e620 using 10 cells and the Kontronic 55-10-32/Z50-800 power system. With a headspeed of 1800 the transmitter curve is at only 30 %, a headspeed of 2150--2200 is achieved at a curve of 60-65%.
Is anyone else using the Spectrum with this setup and if so could you advise your experience with the throttle setup. thanks

Are you using a 9t or 10t pinion?

If you have to tun such a low throttle curve you run the risk of overheating the ESC. A smaller pinion is a better way to lower the headspeed.

Be careful with that 55 amp ESC. I burned one out earlier this year. 55 amps is a bit low for a 600-620m helicopter. Be sure and keep the pitch at +/-10 or below so the peak amps don’t get too high. I was running +/-12 with a data logger for a while and it showed peaks slightly over 80 amps during 3D. I am now using a CC HV85 and have over 200 flights with no problems.
