T-Rex 450 lube?
Just wondering if any of you are familiar with Miltec...its a lubricant we in the Army use on military weapons etc...just wondering if it would be suitable for use on swash/tail slider etc...Miltec is a synthetic metal conditioner that lubricates metal with a dry synthetic molecular bond.....When heated to normal operating temp of the metal to which it is applied it creates a bond with the metal....thanks for the help

As long as it lets things slip and slide under heat without seizing and/or breaking down you should be fine. Guess some testing would be in order.

spin up, check movement, good, next
hover 30secs, check movement, good, next
hover 1 mins..... you get the idea.

If you want to try it I would definitely keep an eye on the parts and check them not only for free movement, but also look and see if the lube is still visible and also if you have a heat gun, check the heat of the tail/main shaft and see what that is like.

A friend of mine acquired some of this lube and although it was really good he said if you could buy it you would need a month’s wages for a tube.
