Header tank installation
I know lots of you have weighed in on my post about a header tank on the Rex 600n. Some use it and some don't .... to each his own. I personally have decided to run a HT since I have always flown one on my Raptors and its a comfort zone if nothing else.

How about posting some info on how and where you installed your header tank on the Rex 600N. Decription and photos will be a big help to many if you have some. Thanks in advance for all the info.

PS .... Now that I have flown my Rex 600N , both my Raptor are for sale. This heli is outstanding !!!

Fly it like you stole it, not like your gonna break it !!!

check out this link, solidsnake has a very nice setup.
I was used to the HT also on my rap. but it just hangs out too far on the 600 so I run a fuel mag.

I used double sided tape to install my HT to the fuel tank and plus you can adjust the height up and down to suit your fuel line needs to feed your carb.It made a very clean set up . I did this before running it so the tape could stick to a new tank with no oil on it. I have 20 + flights and it does perfect .Oh what a feeling 3D Flying can be

double sided gyro mounting tape works well for me too. Absorbs lots of vibration and easy to replace. No mods necessary. You just have to check it periodically before flying...

tape to support your header tanks? I love it, you guys are nuts. I'm a chicken and use a bracket. I like it placed back like this as I can see the main fuel line better.

I was Spektrum when Spektrum wasn't cool

and what are you using to support your gyro?

I just installed a header tank tonight using tape and will test it tomorrow. If it does decide to fall off, I hope the fuel lines will hold it on until I can land.

Actually, I used a couple of the 3M Heavy Duty foam tapes and it seems secure. I hope it is.

what brand of header tank is that? Your setup may have convinced me to run one, very clean looking.

I really like solidsnakes', and may even risk inkspots' ridicule if I could figure where to get one. Looks like D'Best brand, can't find them anywhere.
