If you go with an Apache what will you do about the elevated tail if you are looking to do no mods. If you are looking for a no mod needed fuselage, its best to go with something with a straight tail such as the Jet Ranger or even the Hughes 500 bodies.

The smallest Ive seen of the approach apache is for the swift size heli which this heli is bigger than the T-rex At best it would seem be borderline under powered by a T-rex size heli.

Sorry. No cigar Doctor Tim. James has not released or developed a T-Rex 450 size Apache. He has the .30 -.46 size based on the Century Hawk and he has the Swift/Logo 10 size and that's it for Approach Engineering Apaches.Cheers - Boyd

Well, We have them in stock ..
Have a look at the link I posted ... It is a smaller version for the 400 class helicopter. The Logo 10 will work but because of it's light weight the 400 class helicopters will work as well.

Your ad copy is misleading when it mentions "400" size. A T-Rex 450 will not only look rediculous in this size fuselage, but may not get off the ground with the typical 325mm main rotors. Bad move to tell folks this is a suitable body for a 450T-Rex. Build one and show us and I'll apologize and shut up. Been working with James Linder for months now and he recently told me he hasn't the time nor resources to develop a 450 size Apache. It would be nice, but the Swift/Logo 10 size won't do it.Cheers - Boyd

Sorry you feel that way Boyd. We put the info we are given from the manufacturer in our ads. We do have a couple customers that are flying the 450 in this fuse. I personally have not built one so I can not say either way. Plus with my bad eyesight I don't think I could see let alone fly something that small.
