Question on Quick's heavy duty clutch installation for Raptor 50 Titan
Hi all

I just bought the above and i'm gonna replace the existing Raptor clutch with this.

Question
Do I continue to install the Quick UK clutch along with the Raptor's original shim or have the shim remove? (refering to the thin piece of metal that goes over the Raptor Clutch before bolting onto fan unit).

Pls help

Check the fan hub; if it has a raised area that allows the clutch shoes to swing without dragging & tilting them, then the shim is not required (eg QUK fan), otherwise include the shim (eg TT fan).

Yep if its a stock fan use the shim.

After market fans sometimes have small areas relieved then you dont use the shim. Photo 19 in this article shows it.

Yup got it! notice the Quick UK have 2 strips at the sides - to allow clutch shoe to open
