jr8103 but will that matter too much? I have never set up a gov and have no clue where to start. Im not a hardcore 3d guy but dont wanna over rev the engine doin knife edge falls and stuff. My r30 revs high when it hits 0 pitch and dont wanna hear my 600 nitro do that.

*make sure the magnet is the proper way
*shrinkwrap the sensor and the wire, but make sure not to seal the sensor end
*be gentle on the sensor when mounting as the tab can break easily
*calibrate the Idle, High, and Stop points
*have thr crv in all modes in case the GV fails

-are you gonna have a separate switch or have it come on in idle up1/2?
!boo!

I have a question regarding *calibrate the Idle, High, and Stop points. My DX7 does not really have a engine stop, or engine kill position. I kill the engine by moving the throttle trim all the way down. Now, is it correct to calibrate the idle by moving the throttle stick to the bottom, and calibrate the stop by addition moving down the throttle trim?

Thanks

Low stick, low trim **IS** a stop position - use it! Even if you had a button, it would just go to that same position.

Here is how Jason Krause does it.

http://www.jkheli.com/index.htm

The reality is that most everything stays in the default position or is not used, like mixture.

Go through Jason's steps and then use the SWCD screen when you think you have it set up. That screen will confirm as you move the radio swithes and sticks, to tell you if the governor is on and off when you mean it to be.

Not as imposing as it looks. Sorry I don't know your radio so can't help you there.
