Helimax Axe CP bobbing problem
Hi all,
I have been working with a Helimax CP for some time now and just can't figure out what is causing it to bob up and down drastically on its own. I recently switched it over to my Futuba 7 channel and still have the same problem. It seems that the pitch is changing on its own, but the cyclic functions fine. Does anyone else have this problem? This problem has been getting worse as it is flown more. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

I had the same trouble and found out it was when I would make corrections, the power that was used to make corrections was drawing so much that it would cause the AXE to bob up and down. My solution was to get a Mini Titan.Always Learning LOGO 400 V-bar, TT R50 V2 Blue, RJX Xtreme 50, Vibe 50N, TZ Frenzy 50.

If you look around in some of the other posts there is problems with the stock servos creating lots of slop. If you are using the stock transmiter you can swap them hs55's. It helps with the feel of the heli.

My still does it with HS55 so I had replaced a new sliding block which helped since it was cracked.

If you had lots of flights perhaps the plastics are worn and non balanced blades amplifing them? It comes and goes for me since i replace plastic pieces as i crash them .

Thanks for the info and ideas. I found a worn spot on the main gear. I'm not able to locate a replacement locally so I will have to order one. Till then I will check the plastic parts for wear and replace if needed. When I get the gear, I will post the results of it fixing the problem or not.
